As the principal of this wonderful school, I am honored to lead a community that strives for academic excellence with a social emotional approach underpinned by our Catholic faith. St Leonard’s Catholic Primary School is dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and supportive educational environment for all our students.
At our school, we foster each child’s spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth. With Christ as our guide, we create a learning environment where students not only achieve academic success but also develop strong moral values and a sense of community. Our dedicated teachers and staff work closely with parents to build an atmosphere of collaboration, respect, and care, ensuring that each child is supported on their unique journey of learning.
Our school is driven by the research surrounding the Science of Learning where we deliver a knowledge rich, evidence based teaching and learning curriculum so that every student achieves literacy and numeracy proficiency. We are equally focused on meeting the needs of every student socially and emotionally, particularly those requiring additional educational and social emotional support.
Our goal is to help develop each student’s sense of self-worth, foster a love of learning, and instill optimism about the future. We celebrate the rich cultural and social diversity within our school and wider society, encouraging students to develop a deeper understanding, respect, and acceptance of others and the world around them.
